Director of Project Management - Parks, Recreation and Facilities, Public Buildings
This highly skilled professional oversees City projects, from developing the scope of work to the completion of the project, including the supervision of the project management team, contractors, vendors and City Trades’ staff. The Director of Project Management reports to the Director of Public Buildings and attends meetings regularly to discuss projects and status of ongoing work. Additionally, the Director assists with evaluating and developing the deferred maintenance list of city owned facilities and 10 year building improvements plan.
This position is responsible for preparing cost estimates for potential and actual projects and monitors assigned project budget from initial appropriation to final payment. Other responsibilities include attending pre-bid meetings with the ability to clearly define the scope of work. In addition, the Director of Project Management, prepares the necessary bid and contract documents and is responsible for obtaining the necessary signatures for approval. This position also reviews bids to assure qualified bidders.

Non-Union Position – DBM C45 - $81,496 up to $91,744/year.
